Claire M. (Zipps) Patronick

Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and aunt

 Claire M. (Zipps) Patronick, 89, of Lowell, died Thursday, June 28th at D’Youville Senior Care with her loving family by her side.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, July 31, 1928, a daughter of the late John and the late Hannah (Neeson) Zipps, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1946.
 Before retiring, Claire was employed by the City of Lowell as a custodian and matron at City Hall. She was also a volunteer for Community Teamwork Inc. at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell.
 Among her many activities, she was a member of S.A.G.E. (Salvation Army Golden Era), the Lowell Senior Center, Centralville Senior Center and Dracut Senior Center. She loved dancing and golf and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox and Patriots.
 Claire is survived by two daughters Joanna LeRiche and her husband Gary of Dracut, MA and Maura Linscott of Lowell, MA; one son John Patronick and his wife Kimberly of Pepperell, MA; twelve grandchildren among them her very special granddaughter Kimberly Gray and her husband Dean and their children; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister Eleanor McCann of Pelham, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
 She was also mother of the late Stephen Patronick and sister of the late Kathleen Zipps, Mildred Sullivan, Shirley Gilbert, John Walter Zipps, Francis Zipps Theresa Riley and Thomas Gerald Zipps.
 Family and friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. on Tuesday immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11 o’clock. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. E-condolences/directions at
