Deborah C. (Thamer) Kneeland 

loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend;

 

Deborah C. (Thamer) Kneeland, 67, of Chelmsford, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at her home in Chelmsford.

She was the loving wife of the late George W. Kneeland who died in 2006.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 16, 1951, a daughter of the late Louis T. and the late Edith M. (DiRocco) Thamer, she attended St. Patrick Grammar school and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

Deborah retired from the Raytheon Corporation where she worked as a soderer for many years. Previously, she had worked at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Bedford.

A member of the Gold Star Wives, she also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Michael L. Kneeland and his wife Kendra of Plymouth; her granddaughter Alexis L. Kneeland and grandson Ryder O. Kneeland both of Plymouth; three sisters Donna Stansfield of Saugus, Sharon Dillon and her husband Brian of Lowell and Carol Mayrand and her husband Mike of Aquinnah, MA; two brothers Thomas Thamer and his wife Amanda of Methuen and Larry Lauziere and his wife Pam of Louisanna; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours THURSDAY evening at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 5 to 7 P.M.
