Virginia Lea Fowler

Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend;

Virginia Lea Fowler, 92, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully Monday evening at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late George E. Morgan.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 7, 1925, a daughter of the late Albert and the late Leah M. (Kettlety) Fowler she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High school in the Class of 1945. She went on to receive her Associate’s Degree from Mass Bay Community College.

A personnel supervisor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Mental Health at the Solomen Mental Health Center in Lowell for many years, she later worked for Merrimack Valley Elder Services as a nursing home ombudsman.

Virginia is survived by four daughters Virginia L. Corcoran and her husband James of Dracut, Patricia A. Marquardo and her husband Phil of Myrtle Beach, Cynthia A. Sirois and her husband Steven of Londonderry, NH and Lisa M. Morgan-Small and her life partner Kevin Donnellan of Tewksbury; a son Kenneth E. Morgan of Raymond, NH; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in Lowell from 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held Monday morning at the CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH 60 Hastings St. in Lowell at 10 o’clock followed by her burial in the Westlawn Cemetery.
