Lynne A. LaBate

Retired from U.P.S in Chelmsford;

Lynne A. (Johnson) LaBate, 62, of Nashua, NH, but for many years a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Friday January 18, 2019 in Nashua with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Brian D. LaBate who died in 2013.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 23, 1956, a daughter of the late Stanley and the late Margaret (Bradley) Johnson, she attended Tyngsborough schools and was a graduate of Tyngsboro High School with the Class of 1974.

Prior to her retirement, Lynne worked as a customer service representative for U.P.S. in Chelmsford for over 27 years.

She was all about family and especially enjoyed trips to the beach with family and friends.

Lynne is survived by her two daughters Lea M. (LaBate) Barry of Nashua, NH and Keri L. Rollinger and her husband Jesse of Culpeper, VA; five grandchildren Donovan LaBate, Johnny Barry, Jr., Kyra Rollinger, Caleb Rollinger and Dakota Rollinger; a brother Dean Johnson and his wife Rosie of Bellevue, Nebraska; four sisters Nancy Johnson, Diane Cerretti and her husband James, Cheryl Savard and Susan Johnson all of Tyngsborough; and many nieces, nephews and loving in-laws.

She was also the sister of the late Herve Chaput.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 2 to 4 P.M. Wednesday January 23, 2019 followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 4 o’clock.     I was saddened to read of Lynne's passing. She was a lovely, smart girl in my class when I was teaching second grade at the Lakeview School in Tyngsboro during the 1963-1964 school year. My condolences to Dean and all the family.
