Beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Luis Angel Ortiz passed away surrounded by loving family and friends on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at Lowell General Hospital.

A resident of Lowell, MA, he was born on August 7, 1966 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the son of Luciano Ortiz and the late Gladys Hernandez.

He received his education in the Lowell School System and was a well known amateur boxer and DJ.

He is survived by his 6 children, Gladys Ortiz, Chasitidy Frias, Yanirah Ortiz, Luis Angel Ortiz, Jr., Venices Ortiz, and Kyamar Ortiz, all of Lowell, Ma; his 6 Grandchildren; a sister Carmen Ortiz of Lowell, a brother Alexander Ortiz of Amesbury, Ma; and several nieces and nephews.

Luis was predeceased by his loving brother Luciano Ortiz, Jr.

Friends may call the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday November 25, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Burial Service to be held Tuesday afternoon at the Westlawn II Cemetery in Lowell at 1 P.M.(Please meet at the Cemetery)  E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
