I only just learned of Mona's passing. I was so sad to hear that she has left us. As a second cousin, I have fond memories of visiting Mary and Raymond with my dad and playing with Mona when we were little. I was also in the Class of 74 with her. Mona was always so sweet and kind and had such a bright smile. I am so sorry for your loss.

  • Kathy Green Allen  - For Ramona's loved ones
Dear Friends, I grew up on Harvard street in Lowell and when I began my schooling at St Margaret's School in first grade, Ramona sat behind me in class and we quickly became good friends. We spent a lot of time together in the early years, til she transferred to another school and we lost track of each other. My memories of her have always been fond ones, she being my very first school friend, so I was sad to hear about her recent death. My parish is in Hampton NH, so I have scheduled a Memorial Mass to be celebrated for Ramona on May 20th. Because of the suspension of public Masses, it will be celebrated privately by one of our priests, but knowing Ramona is getting the graces from this Holy Mass will hopefully comfort you, as well. God bless you all.....and know that your dear Ramona will remain in my prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, Kathy Green Allen Hampton Falls, NH

  • Terrence Gormley  - Friend
Mona could always greet with a smile even years after first meeting. Her soulful loss puts a void in LowellS caring kind.
  • Brenda Maille  - I am so sorry
To Mona’s family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mona. Mona and I were both graduates of Lowell High class of 1974. After graduation, I would see her around Lowell from time to time and she was so friendly and personable. I remember when Mona was in high school, she was always impeccably groomed and her outfits were perfectly put together. To me, that was a pretty big deal in the 1970s. More importantly, she was always so bubbly and popular. My deepest sympathies.
  • Steve and Kate Gendron  - Love and Prayers
Kate and I are very sorry to hear of Mona’s passing. I have many fond memories of her. This is such a difficult time to lose a loved one. We are praying for all of you.
  • Diane (Brouillette) McLeod  - So sad to hear
My condolences to the family. As I saw her picture a flood of memories from Dover Street, to High School, Girl Officers, to Hampton Beach, to Mona's gum chewing, and of course that smile, came rushing back. Everyone will remember that smile! You will be missed.
