
John Mario Falkos Espinosa
Beloved child, sibling, and partner;
John Mario Falkos Espinosa, 41, of Lowell,Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday,April 13, 2023, at High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by those they loved. John fought Synovial Sarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer, for ten years, and was a left-arm amputee.
John was an Attorney in private practice. John also taught Restorative Justice and Mediation at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. John was interested in personal growth in themselves and others and was constantly striving to help others. John was a lifelong fan of science fiction and a lover of all things Star Trek. John leaves behind a legacy of love of friends, family, and community. John was interested in giving back to the Merrimack Valleyand founded the Falkos Espinosa Charitable Trust to do just that.
John was born November 19, 1981, in Stoneham, MA, to Mario L. Espinosa of Mexico, and Eugenia “Jenny” (Falkos) Espinosa of Danvers, MA, who survive them. John was a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law, where they received their Juris Doctor degree. John also held a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. John received their Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Suffolk University and an Associate’s degree from North Shore Community College.
Besides John's mother and father, John is survived by a brother: Demetri F. Espinosa of Danvers, MA. They are also survived by their partner E Larocque of Lowell, MA.John is also survived by an extended family in the U.S., Mexico, and Greece and many friends worldwide.
