 Roland S. “Larry” Doyle, Jr., 75, of Hampton, NH but formerly of North Chelmsford, MA and North Ft. Myers, FL, died Monday August 18, 2014 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH surrounded by his loving family.
 Larry, who was also known as “Pudge” to those who knew him well, was the beloved husband of Jane F. (Sullivan) Doyle, who survives him and with whom they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this October 17th, 2014.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, October 11, 1938, the son of the late Roland S. and the late Anastasia S. (Ablacinski) Doyle, he attended Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School in the Class of 1956.
 Larry was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Reserves.
 Prior to his retirement, Larry was a technician with the New England Telephone Company for over 30 years.
 He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
 Larry realized his dream by living the last 20 years at Hampton Beach. In addition to his love of the beach, he also enjoyed cheering on the Patriots, playing the Ukelele and offering funny “fatherly advice” to his family. He will be missed by many family and friends.
 Besides his wife, Larry is survived by three sons Lawrence S. Doyle and his wife Christine of Tampa, FL, Michael E. Doyle of Lowell and Steven M. Doyle and his wife Kathleen of Derry, NH; two grandchildren Cassidy L. Doyle of Tampa, FL and Liam S. Doyle of Derry, NH; a brother James M. Doyle and his wife Sandra of Moultonboro, NH; a sister –in-law Leslie Georgoulis and her husband Stephen W. of Scottsdale, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning at ST. JOHN the EVANGELIST CHURCH in N. Chelmsford at 10 o’clock.  Burial at St. Mary Cemetery in N.
