Claire M. Peirent, R.N.

 
 Claire M. (Thompson) Peirent, R.N., 80, of Westford, formerly a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years where she raised her family, died peacefully Tuesday evening, September 30th at Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Peirent who died December 20, 2005.
 Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, October 12, 1933, the daughter of the late Albert and the late Mary M. (Murphy) Thompson, she attended Methuen schools and was a graduate of Edward F. Searles High School in the Class of 1951. She then went on to graduate from Catherine Labouré School of Nursing in 1954, earning her diploma as a Registered Nurse.
 Before retiring, Claire was employed as a Registered Nurse at the former St. John’s Hospital in Lowell (now known as Lowell General Hospital/Saints Campus) for over 25 years. She was extremely proud of and dedicated to her profession and her tenure at the hospital.
 Mrs. Peirent’s lifelong passion was caring for her family and took particular pride in her grandchildren.
 Claire is survived by three daughters Marie Peirent of East Longmeadow, MA, Kathleen Lane and her husband David of Tyngsboro, MA and Christine Torphy and her husband William of Temple, NH; two sons Richard J. Peirent of Dracut, MA and Robert Peirent and his wife Lois of Easthampton, MA; six grandchildren David, Mark and Adam Lane, Kelsey and Caragh Torphy and Emily Peirent; two sisters Helen Shadlick and Ruth Conlon and her husband Gene; two brothers Richard Thompson and Joseph Thompson and his wife Pat; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
 She was also mother of the late Rosemary Peirent and sister of the late Mary Lambert and the late Francis Thompson.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher in Lowell from 3 to 7 P.M. Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at ST. ROBERT BELLARMINE CHURCH in Andover at 10:30 A.M. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
