Fran and my mother, Rita Pitocchelli Moynihan, went through nurses training together. My Mom eventually relocated to Upstate New York, but talked about Fran all the time. I had the opportunity to meet Fran on a trip to Seabrook Beach in September 2014. We spent over an hour talking about the wonderful memories they had from those days. I felt as if I'd known her my entire life. My Mom passed in December 2014 and thanks to Fran I had some great stories to share at her memorial service. My mom always told me what a wonderful person "Frannie" was and I feel privileged to have spent some time with her. Fran and her family are in our family's thoughts and prayers.
