Clara Zouvelos

 
 Clara Zouvelos, 96, of Lowell, died Wednesday, February 11th at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell.
 Born in Dracut, Massachusetts, April 8, 1918, a daughter of the late Argeris an the late Theone (Stroumboulakos) Zouvelos, she received her education in the Dracut school system.
 Before retiring, Clara was employed as a knitter with Malden Mills in Lawrence for many years. Previously, she worked at the former Weaver Manufacturing and the former McGowan Educator Cracker both in Lowell.
 Among her many activities, Clara enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and bowling. She was also an accomplished trader in the stock market. However, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her loving family.
 Clara is survived by two sisters Helen Gacek of Lowell, MA and Angela Zouvelos of Pelham, NH; ten nieces and nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
 She was also sister of the late Bessie Levas, Joanne Zouvelos, Theodora Dys, George Zouvelos, William Zouvelos and Anthony Zouvelos.
 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in Lowell from 2 to 6 P.M. Monday. Her Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock.
