 Joyce E. Marais, 57, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Monday, October 5th at her home.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, June 15, 1958, daughter of the late Albert G. and the late Susan T. (Lamb) Marais, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
 Joyce is survived by two sisters Diane Stockton and the late Peter Stockton; Christine Cue and husband Jeffrey; brothers Richard A. Marais and wife Patricia, David J. Marais and wife Joan; Paul J. Marais and wife Jeanne; and Jon C. Marais and wife Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews.
 She is also predeceased by brothers Stephen D. Marais, Albert G. Marais Jr., Michael E. Marais and her sister Karen M. Scott.
 In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Service on Tuesday, October 13th at ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 96 Riverneck Road in Chelmsford at 10 o’clock. Burial will follow in the family lot. E-condolences at

    I was so sorry to hear about Joyce's loss. She is safe in God's hands and I am praying for the family during this difficult time. She left a beautiful footprint during her lifetime and I know that she will be missed by all of those that have had the pleasure of knowing her. I knew her for a shor time, but she was certainly a very special person.
