Frances A. Ellis
Frances A. Ellis, 89, of Chelmsford, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 13th at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of George H. Ellis who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on October 8, 2015.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, November 7, 1926, the daughter of the late Elmer F. and the late Annabelle (Bryant) Haight, she received her education in the New Orleans school system.
Before retiring, Frances was employed as an Inspector with Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell for over 35 years.
She was a long time member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell.
In addition to her husband, Frances is survived by her half-brother Frank Haight as well as several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, there were no calling hours and her Funeral Service was held privately. Burial took place in the family lot at Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
