Manuel C. Pacheco
Respected Lowell businessman;
Manuel C. Pacheco, 80, of Lowell, member of a well-known Lowell family, died Sunday afternoon at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
The widow of the late Judith A. (Moriarty) Pacheco, who died in 2001, he was the husband of Sheila (Gath) (Callery) Pacheco of Lowell, who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 28, 1935, the son of the late Manuel J. Pacheco and the late Mary (Andrews) Pacheco, he received his education in the Lowell School system.
Manny proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. National Guard.
Prior to his retirement, he was the Vice President and General Manager of Saab Realty Corp where he worked for over 50 years.
Manny loved visiting Lake Winnipesaukee in NH where he enjoyed boating, fishing, skiing and spending time with his loving family. An avid shooter, he was a Lifetime member and former Treasurer of the Lowell Sportsmen’s Club.
Besides his wife, Manny is survived by two daughters Suzanne Pacheco – Girard and her husband Christopher M. Girard of Nashua, NH and Michelle A. Pacheco of Lowell; three sons Brian W. Pacheco and his wife Teresa D. Everhart of Greensboro, NC, Raymond A. Pacheco of Lowell and Brad M. Pacheco of Lowell; ten grandchildren James Morris, Michaela Morris and her husband James Reedy, Richard A. Neveux, Brianna Neveux, and Dagmar, Wolfgang, Vincenzo, Malachy, Jack and Skylar Pacheco; two sisters Alice Gray of Florida and Gloria J. Provencher of Tewksbury; a brother David Pacheco of Florida; many nieces and nephews and his dog Theodore “Teddy” McBear of Lowell.
He was the loving father of the late Deborah A. Pacheco who died November 14, 2004
There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (Upstairs) in Lowell at 11:30 A.M.
