Pauline J. Coyle

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister;

Pauline J. (Champlin) Coyle, 80, a resident of the Highlands section of the City, died Monday morning at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was the wife of the late James P. Coyle, Jr. who died in 1997.

Born in Billerica, Massachusetts, April 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Bertram and the late Doris (Fairbrother) Champlin, she received her education in the Lowell school system.

Prior to her retirement, Pauline was a sales clerk at the Hallmark Store in Chelmsford, where she worked for several years.

In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening in her yard, it brought her great joy.

Pauline is survived by her daughter Tracey J. Coyle of Lowell; two sons James P. Coyle, III of Woonsocket, RI and Darren and his wife Karen of Columbia, CT; six grandchildren Chelsi Hanley and her husband Craig of Dracut, Sharron Coyle and Greg Dagnese of Milford, Stephanie Coyle of Milford, Bryce, Catherine and Carrie Coyle all of Columbia, CT; a great grandson Mason Dagnese; two sisters Ruth Davey and her husband Thomas of Dracut and Shirley Costa of Lowell; a brother Robert Champlin and his wife Diane of Dover, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the grandmother of the late Ian Coyle; and sister of the late Richard Champlin, the late Thelma Brown, the late Dorothy Conley and the late Doris Mae Drummond.

The Coyle family would like to express their deep appreciation and thanks to staff of the Merrimack Valley Hospice for their kind and considerate care which was extended to their mother.

 Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday morning at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME at 10 o’clock. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery. E-condolences/directions at odonnellfuneralhome.com.     Aunt Pauline, I love you. I thank you for being there for me so many times in so many ways throughout my life. The beach, Wymans,Corbetts Pond, where was the tan Chevy station wagon going to take us all."Uncle Jim and Aunt Pauline are here" was the rallying call on a summer morning.
