Terrill Gerow

HAVERHILL--Terrill Gerow, age 70, died Monday, July 18th at Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late William F. Gerow and the late Mayre R. (Gannon) Gerow, Terrill was educated in Lowell schools and graduated from Keith Hall in 1963.
A longtime resident of Haverhill, she worked in several Lowell and Lawrence area facilities for New England Telephone Company. She was a technician and proud of the gender barrier breaking positions held at the company, often working in all male jobs. She retired in 1997.
Terrill considered herself fortunate to have been the recipient of an organ donation, which gave her many additional years. She was passionate about animals and adopted several rescue pets from area facilities.
In addition to her parents, Terrill was preceded in death by her adored brother William F. Gerow, Jr. She is survived by several cousins including those who cared for Terrill as her health deteriorated; David Gerow of Longs, SC, Karen Roduta of Townsend, MA and Kevin Gerow of Methuen, MA.
She also had supportive neighbors, friends and health care professionals who made it possible for her to remain at home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside Committal Service at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lowell, MA on Wednesday, July 27 at 2:00 P.M (in Section G).
