 Florence Houpis, 100, of Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell, died Friday July 29th at the Palm Center in Chelmsford.
 Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, February 4, 1916, a daughter of the late Elias and the late Jennie (Bell) Houpis, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1933 where she also served as a Girl Officer.
 Before retiring, Miss Houpis was employed in the Personnel and Credit Offices at Sears Roebuck & Company in Lowell and Nashua for over 44 years.
 Miss Houpis was a lifelong member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity.
 She is survived by several cousins and was sister of the late John Houpis and the late Evelyn Houpis.
 At her request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 Pawtucket St. at Fletcher in Lowell on Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Committal Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in her memory to the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, Lewis St. Lowell, MA 01854 or a charity of one’s choice.
