Loving mom and grandmother of nine.

 

Anne Marie (McCormack) Kelly, 68, a member of a widely known Lowell family, died Tuesday October 18, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born in Lowell, June 7, 1948, a daughter of the late Thomas B. and the late Maria S. (Dioguardi) McCormack, she attended St. Margaret’s Grammar school and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the Class of 1966.

 

Anne Marie’s career in cardiac and respiratory care spanned over 30 years at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, where she was highly respected by physicians, nurses, patients, and peers.

 

Anne Marie cherished the moments she shared with grandchildren, family, and friends. She found happiness and peace while working in her yard, decorating her home, and hosting themed holiday celebrations.  Her extraordinary generosity, compassion for others, and positive outlook on life inspired all those who surrounded her.

 

She is survived by her daughter Erin M. Chace and her husband David of Townsend; two sons Jay P. Kelly of Pepperell and Todd T. Kelly and his wife Rivka of NYC; grandchildren Emily, Courtney, Sean, Thomas, Aine, Madison, Jacqueline, Ava, and Kai; her sister Gail P. Burnett and brother-in-law Lawrence of Lowell; her longtime companion Neal Fanning of Groton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call the O’Donnell Funeral Home 276 Pawtucket St. at Fletcher St. from 1 to 4 P.M. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Monday morning at St. Margaret Church in Lowell at 10 o’clock followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery in No. Tewksbury.
