“Auntie”, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend;
 
    Mary Frances “MFD” Donovan, 39, a member of a well known Lowell family, died unexpectedly Monday morning at Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side.
    Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 10, 1977, the loving daughter of Brian J. and Ann T. (McKiernan) Donovan, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro with the Class of 1995.
    Mary went on to graduate from U/Mass Lowell in 2000 with a BA in Liberal Arts.
    Currently a procurement coordinator with the Massachusetts Trial Court in Boston, she previously worked in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office in Lowell.
    An avid Red Sox, Patriots and UML Riverhawk’s hockey fan, Mary enjoyed trips to the beach and Foxwoods.
    However what brought Mary the most joy was being with her family, especially her nieces, nephews and cousins.
    A sparkle of joy and humor in any room she entered, Mary will be deeply missed by those who knew her best.
    Besides her parents, she is survived by her three brothers Brian J. Donovan, Jr. and his wife Sarah and their two children Emily I. Donovan and Brian J. Donovan, III, Patrick W. Donovan and his wife Holly and their three children Finn P. Donovan, Declan T. Donovan and Delaney N. Donovan and John R. Donovan and his wife Jennifer all of Lowell; many aunts, uncles, cousins including her dear cousin Kelly Ann Nangle of Lowell; and her dear friend Anthony DiSessa of Malden.
    Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276  PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 3 to 7 P.M. Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at ST. MARGARET’S CHURCH at 10 o’clock followed by her burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in No. Tewksbury.
