Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt
Eloise (Richardson) Johnson, 75, of Lowell, died Saturday, November 19th at Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lowell.
Born in Sylvester, Georgia, April 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Lonnie Parker and the late Gladys (Richardson) Parker, she received her education in the Sylvester school system. She then relocated to Lowell, Massachusetts in 1956.
Before retiring, Eloise was employed as an assembler with Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell for many years. Previously, she worked in the same capacity at Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury.
She loved her church and God and was a member of the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Lowell.
Among her many interests, Eloise was very active with her church where she was a choir member, served as a trustee and steward and was president of the usher board. She loved cooking, dancing, gospel music and frequenting the former Rockingham Park in Salem, NH. She was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Above all else though, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eloise is survived by two daughters Pamela G. Kitchen of Lowell, MA and Sandra Y. Henderson of Pepperell, MA; five grandchildren Teleshi Richardson, Ontaya Lewis and her husband Timothy, Joshua Richardson, Apollonia Kitchen and Alan Henderson; two great-grandchildren Eric Parson, Jr. U.S.N. and Kayliani Henderson; two sisters Evangelist Catherine Parker-Clinton and Mae Grace Hope and her husband Charles all of Sylvester, GA; six brothers Charles W Parker and his wife Tiana of Hayward, CA, Elder Raymond Parker and his wife Mary of Richland, GA, Deacon Tommy Lee Parker and his wife Savannah of Leesburg, GA, Reverend Lonnie Parker III and his wife Juliette of Albany, GA, Reverend Vance Parker and his wife Earnestine of Hayward, CA and Reverend Michael Parker and his wife Iris of Albany, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Willie James Parker.
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 7 P.M. WEDNESDAY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be celebrated FRIDAY morning at the BETHEL AME CHURCH, 75 Grand St. in Lowell at 11 o'clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
