Mr. McCaffrey (Leo) was such a wonderful man. Very loving to his family and friends. I was honored to be able to spend time with him as one of his friends. He taught me a great deal about the real meaning of life and had a such a gifted patriotic spirit about him. He will be missed a great deal by myself and my husband. My husband and I toured the USS Yorktown in Charleston, SC and when we returned I brought pictures and memories of the ship and our tour. We talked at great length about the times he had when he was in the Navy and about being involved in the two Wars. I once asked him, if possible, would you ever return to duty and he said gladly and with honor. Mr. McCaffrey we will miss you and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE... Julie and George Wedge

Dear Sharon- I'm thinking of you and your family. It is clear that you and your father share the same desire to serve and share joy with others. You, my friend and colleague, will continue that legacy with all that you do with and for your students young and old. Wishing you comfort- Kaitlin
