Norma J. McDonald
Beloved mother, grandmother and sister;
Norma J. (Lawrence) McDonald, 81, of Pepperell, but formerly of Lowell, died Sunday May 7, 2017 at Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late John F. McDonald, Jr. who died December 23, 1984.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, December 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Victor and the late Mary F. (Fratus) Lawrence, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1953.
Norma continued her education as a student at the former Lowell Commercial College.
Prior to her retirement, Norma worked as an Administrative Assistant for several years at the Mitre Corporation in Bedford, MA.
Among her many interests, she was an avid reader, gardener and movie “buff.”
However, what brought her the most joy was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Norma is survived by her son John A. McDonald and his wife Lori of Chelmsford; her daughter Alison B. Geehan and her husband Christopher of Littleton; and, three grandchildren--Alicia L. McDonald and Shannon M. McDonald, both of Chelmsford, and Ethan C. Geehan of Littleton.
She was also the loving grandmother of the late Michael P. McDonald of Chelmsford, who passed away August 6, 2016.
