Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt
Noreen E. (McLarnon) Nesheim, 78, of Epsom, New Hampshire, formerly of Lowell, died Friday, October 27th at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Duane A. Nesheim who survives her and with whom she recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 17, 1938, a daughter of the late John P. “Packy” and the late Cecile A. (Mercier) McLarnon, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Before retiring, Noreen was employed as an office worker in the Insurance Department at Auto Use in Andover for many years.
Among her many interests, she was an avid New England sports fan, especially of the Patriots and Celtics. She also enjoyed bird watching, family camping trips, travelling, playing cribbage, scrabble, solving crossword puzzles, enjoying a craft beer, and watching British mysteries with her daughter. Above all else, being all about family, she cherished the quality time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Noreen is survived by a son John P. Nesheim of Epsom; a daughter Karin E. Nesheim of Epsom; two grandsons Skylar J. Nesheim of Boston, MA and Liam C. Nesheim of Epsom; four sisters Mary Mansur of Hudson, NH, Patricia Amboian and her husband John of Andover, MA, Cecelia Maille of Nashua, NH and Jacquelyn Stowell of Hudson, NH; two brothers-in-law William "Winkie" McCarty of Lowell, MA and Lynn Nesheim and his wife Mona of Lakeside, CA; two sisters-in-law Marlene Winkie and her husband Gary of Rockford, IL and Darlene Wicklund of Tomah, WI; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was also sister of the late Nancy J. Thumm and the late Kathleen A. McCarty.
