Thomas A. Lynch
beloved life partner, school teacher, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend;
Thomas A. Lynch, 68, of Lowell, an Ayer high school teacher for over 33 years and Co-owner of the former Found Art Antique Store in Lowell, died Thursday evening at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading after a lengthy illness with those he loved by his side.
He was the loving partner in life and business of George C. Blance, who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, February 28, 1949, the son of the late Thomas and the late Mary (Sugden) Lynch, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1966.
Tom went on to graduate from Salem State Teacher's College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature and the Humanities.
After college, he started his career in education in Ayer, MA where he taught Literature and the Humanities at Ayer Senior High School for over 33 years.
Following his retirement, Tom opened and operated with his partner George, Found, an art antique and collectable store on Middle St. in downtown Lowell.
Besides George, Tom is survived by his sister Gail Crabtree of Lowell; his aunts and uncles Madeline Donnelly of Lowell, Mary Lynch of Londonderry, NH and George Lynch and his wife Rita of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Calling Hours Thursday afternoon at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in Lowell from 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday.
