Mary B. Burns
Retired Clerk Middlesex County Registry of Deeds;
Mary B. (Ziemba) Burns, 74, formerly of the Centralville section of Lowell, died peacefully Friday afternoon at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, June 15, 1943, a daughter of the late Thaddeus and the late Vera (Dejniak) Ziemba, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Mary was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Prior to her retirement, she was a Clerk at the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds in Lowell for several years.
Among her many interests, Mary enjoyed cooking and arts and crafts.
Mary is survived by a daughter Allyson Thompson and her husband William of Maynard; a son Jonathan Burns of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren Anna and Jason Thompson; a sister Irene Z. DeFreitas of Lowell; three brothers Thaddeus J. “Ted” Ziemba of Dracut; Brian W. Ziemba of Lowell and John P. Ziemba and his wife Deborah of Wentworth, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Thomas Burns and sister-in-law of the late Norma Ziemba and the late Joesph DeFreitas.
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday morning followed by her Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 11 o’clock.
