Peter M. Farley

deeply loved by his family and had an unwavering devotion to God 

FARLEY – Peter M., April 17, 2019, at age 68. Born in Lowell on June 3, 1950, and laid to rest in a private ceremony on April 23 beside his parents, Edward P. Farley and Gertrude M. (Dalton) Farley at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Survived by his sisters, Mary Susan (Farley) McHale of Oyster Bay, NY, and Margaret B. (Farley) Paine of Newton, his niece Alicia Lankowski and her husband Joseph of Billerica, and their children Ava, Steven and Cora, and many other adoring (and adored) nieces and nephews.

Dear brother of the late Edward A. Farley of Haverhill and the late M. Nancy (Farley) LaFerriere of Lowell. Courageously faced – but never vanquished by –  tremendous obstacles for most of his life, his remarkable good spirit, tremendous love for and from his family, and his unwavering devotion to God.

Well cared-for by the fine people at Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Lexington and, in years prior, by the loving staff at Tewksbury State Hospital, and especially his social worker Mona Tye. His legal guardian, Karen Kearns, Esq., provided years of support and guidance.

Margo R. McAnespie

Beloved daughter, sister “Auntie” and friend;

Margo R. McAnespie, 54, of Lowell and a member of a widely known Lowell family, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning May 16, 2019, at her home.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 24, 1965, the daughter of John P. “Jack” McAnespie, Jr. and Margaret R. (Armstrong) McAnespie, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1983. Margo went on to attend U/Mass Lowell.

Most recently Margo was working regionally as a trade compliant specialist in the computer industry. Previously, she was employed in the field of property management.

A “gal” with an outstanding personality, Margo had more friends than could be counted and had a big heart with open arms for everyone. She loved being “Auntie” to her nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Besides her parents whom will miss her dearly, she is survived by her 3 brothers Jay McAnespie and his wife Laurie (Callery) of Lowell, Brian J. McAnespie of Dracut, Tammy Dupont sister-in-law of Dracut and Dan McAnespie and his wife Holly (Quealey) of Lowell; eight nieces and nephews Meghan, Hannah, Molly, Jack, Erin, Ella, Brian McAnespie and Lauren and Jerome Neidigh and their son Charlie; her uncle and godfather James McAnespie and his wife Anna of Deerfield Beach, FL; and her godmother Eleanor A. Corfield of Martha’s Vineyard.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH at 11 o’clock. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Committal Services will be held privately at a later date. June Lois Keefe

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend;

 
June Lois (McBride) Keefe, 78, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, MA, died peacefully Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell, MA.

She was the beloved wife of Francis J. Keefe, who worked at the Lowell Sun for over 40 years, who survives her and with whom she would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on
August 27th of this year.
 

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Claude and the late Ruth (Hunter) McBride, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High
School, Class of 1958. June went on to attend the former Lowell State Teacher College (nka U/Mass Lowell).

Before her retirement, June was employed at U/Mass Lowell for over 27 years. as a financial clerk in the Comptroller's office.

 

A  member of St Margaret of Scotland Parish, the Blessed Virgin Sodality and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul,  she was also a volunteer for the Out Reach Program of the Salvation
Army in Lowell.

 In addition to her  husband, Francis, June is survived by a son Francis A. Keefe and his wife Susan of Tyngsboro; three grandchildren Erik F. Keefe, Shaun M. Keefe and Alycia D.
Keefe; five great-grandchildren; a brother Andrew McBride of Guilford, New Hampshire and a nephew Logan McBride.

She was the granddaughter of the late Andrew & Jennie Hunter.

David E. Totton



Beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend;

David E. Totton, 62, of Lowell passed away unexpectedly Thursday night at Lowell General Hospital with his family by his side.


Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, July 2, 1956, a son of the late Vernon and the late Rita M. (Evans) Totton, he received his education in the Lowell school system.


David was a Supervisor with United Installations, an office furniture company, in North Chelmsford.


He was passionate Patriot’s fan but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.


David is survived by four daughters Tina Cruz of Lowell, Kellie Baule and her husband Allan of Tyngsboro, Tara O’Hearn and her husband Ryan and Kerri Julia and her husband Edwin all of Lowell; six grandchildren David, Lexi, Jillian, A.J., Nathan and Alissa; his longtime soul mate Mary A. Marcouillier of Lowell; a sister Gail Byam of Dracut; two brothers Thomas F. “Tucker” Totton of Lowell and Vernon S. “Red” Totton of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.


He was also the brother of the late Nancy Desmond, Robert V. Totton, Stephen P. Totton and William Totton.


At his request there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated at ST. MARGARET OF SCOTLAND CHURCH in Lowell Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Committal services will be private. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
