Thelma D. "Tammy" (Davis) Ladd

Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend;

Tammy D. (Davis) Ladd, 76, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at Northwood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Lowell, MA surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Groton, MA, on July 20, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert and the late Claire (Lucier) Davis, she attended Groton Schools and was a graduate of Groton High School.

Later, she went on to attend Hairdressing School and became a hairdresser.

However, for most of her working career, Tammy worked as a buyer with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC)until her retirement.

Active with her family, Tammy deeply enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Tammy always had a special affection for her cats. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding the squirrels and ducks at the Lowell Boulevard.

Tammy is survived by a son: Frederick A. “Rick” Ladd IV and his wife Tamzin H. of Billerica, MA; a daughter Kristina D. (Ladd) Vangos of Lowell, MA; four grandchildren Jessica H. Vangos, Anabelle E. Ladd, Richard J. Ladd, and Adrianna A. Ladd; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Robert Davis.
