Christine R. “Sissy” Ferbert

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend;

Christine R. “Sissy” Ferbert, 53, of Lowell, Massachusetts a member of a widely known Greater Lowell family, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 14, 2021 after an extended illness.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 25, 1968, the daughter of the late Richard A. and the late Regina M. (Ahearn) Ferbert, she received her education in the Lowell school system.

Christine worked in the house cleaning industry hotels and local businesses prior to dealing with a long-term illness for 28 years.

She was very talented and artistic. Christine enjoyed writing poetry and all forms of art and was also a woman of deep faith.

Christine is survived by her son James J. Mendonca of Lowell; her daughter Charlene Dotson of Knightdale, NC ; two grandchildren Tatianna Velez of Lowell and Mackenzie Dotson of Knightdale, NC; five siblings Patricia A. Morin and her husband John T. of Lowell, Vickie R. Codeere and her husband Jeffrey of Lowell, Richard A. Ferbert of Lowell, Shawn F. Ferbert and his fiancée Penny Smith of Hudson, NH, and Keith A. Ferbert of Lowell; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also the mother of the late Jamie Lee Ferbert and sister of the late Nancy R. Oteri and the late Deborah A. Provencher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Thursday July 22, 2021 at St. Patrick Cemetery (Section J) at 11:30 A.M. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
