Dear Jim, I am sorry I didn't get a chance to see you when i was up in April. It has been quite awhile and I always enjoyed our time together.since you and your brothers installed our gas furnace until i went into the service we had some time to spend together which brings back some fun memories.Cruising around the square in Lowell bonfires and ice skating on the pond before you built the house and whenever all of us got together at your beautiful place on the lake.too many of my "brother" are no longer with us and are surely missed.Rest in peace pal.

Mary and I are so thankful we reconnected with our family “Up North” again about 25 years ago. We absolutely adore Uncle Jimmy! I always looked forward to walking in the door and hear Jimmy yell at me “Cripes, who left the door open and let YOU in!”
  • Jerry Grady  - Dear Jimmy
You were my brother from another mother. From my early teen years, you taught me many things: from laughing at a beam you dropped on my head (accidentally, I was told), to swearing after hitting my hand with a baby sledge; falling repeatedly while skiing on snow or water, nearly going deaf after failing to through a firecracker out of the vent window of your car while crossing the GW bridge in NY; to swearing like a trooper despite still attending the seminary. You taught me all that, and more. You were my first brother-in-law and I will always remember our times together. Rest in Peace, Jimmy.
  • Karen R. Hannigan Machado  - An Inspiration to So Many
You are leaving such a hole in our hearts dad. There was never anything you couldn’t fix or create. It is heartwarming to hear how you inspired so many to follow in that spirit. You lived life to the absolute fullest to which inspired me to follow such an example. You have built 2 homes for our family to live in and a lifetime of memories to reflect on; from our adventures at “the Camp” on Long Pond, to the many places we traveled to. I will cherish the time we spent together when the going got tougher. You never stopped fighting to keep going. I always said you had 20 lives. The spirit of the fighting Irish! Now you must rest, and we will mourn, but always have those crazy stories to share of the life of adventure you have lived. With Love, and always your Peach, Karen
