Virgie was both a friend and relative! To the Bolduc Family. We have so many great memories since we were little actually, before we were at born.
My parents met at Miles and Virgie’s wedding. My Mom was Virgie’s cousin and my Dad was Miles’ best friend.

Virginia M. (O’Brien) Gattenby, 91, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 23, 2022, surrounded by her caring family.She was the loving wife of the late Miles N. Gattenby Jr.Born in Lowell, MA, April 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Michael and Nellie C. (Shea) O’Brien, she attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School in the Class of 1948.Prior to Virginia's retirement, she worked as a Quality Review Specialist for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA for over 23 years.A longtime communicant at St. Margaret of Scotland Church she attended daily mass.An ardent Patriots fan, Virginia enjoyed watching the Patriots, swimming and going out to eat. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.She is survived by three children: Sheila V. Mansur and her husband Walter of Dunedin, Florida, Deborah Gattenby and her husband Jeff Peters of Pepperell, MA, and Miles N. Gattenby III of Lowell, MA; four grandchildren Brandon P. Mansur Major, US Army and his wife Mengyun Wei of Alexandria, Virginia, Lauren M. Mansur of Seattle, Washington, Hannah N. Peters of Pepperell, MA, and Linda E. Almeida and her husband Rob of Concord, MA; two great grandsons Max and Leo Almeida; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was the sister of the late: Lillian Nealon, Dorothy Graffam, Matilda Smith, Philip O’Brien, Daniel O’Brien, Patricia O’Brien and Anna O’Brien.Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 4 to 7 P.M.
