Agnes E. (Salem) (Loiselle) Mastrogiacomo

Beloved mother, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother;



Lowell - Agnes E. (Salem) (Loiselle) Mastrogiacomo, 96, of Lowell, Massachusetts died Friday, November 25 at Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was the loving wife of the late John Mastrogiacomo, Sr. who died in 2014.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts June 7, 1926, the sixth of seven daughters of the late Paul and the late Fadwa (Stevens) Salem, attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. Agnes furthered her education by attending Lowell Commercial College.

She went on to be the office manager of Atrolene Oil Co. in Lowell until she started her family.

Her priority in life was raising and taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading about health and nutrition to prepare delicious meals for her family. You could always count on something special at her dinner table- including her home-made chicken soup.

Agnes had a strong Catholic Faith and was a long-time communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved having her grandchildren around her, and she enjoyed hearing about her great grandchildren’s activities and accomplishments.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Geraldine ”Gerry” Mangan of Woburn, MA,;  two sons Richard J. Loiselle and wife Jeannine of Dracut, MA and John P. Loiselle of Woburn, MA,; a step-son John J. Mastrogiacomo, Jr. and wife Carlene of Norway, Me., eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Agnes was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph R. Loiselle who passed in 1971 as well as her son-in-law, J. Stephen Mangan and daughter-in-law, Elaine F. Loiselle, six sisters; Mary Makrez, Rose Nader, Jennie Mullen, Margaret Mitchell, Florence Abraham, and Theresa Mercier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday morning December 1, 2022, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell at 11:00 o’clock.
