My condolences to his family. Uncle Lenny was so helpful to me when I moved from Texas to Massachusets. I'll never forget him. You were taken too soon. My heart is breaking. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you. May you be at peace and reunited with your family in Heaven.

A man is a success who has lived well laughed often and loved much , who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children , who leaves the world better than he found it , who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it . You will be missed dear uncle Lenny
  • Rushel and Mike Cushing and Fa  - LIVES ON IN OUR HEARTS
Growing up, Mike lived across the street from the Fitz family and has been friends with Jim since childhood. I met Lynne in the ninth grade; she is one of my best friends and is a caring person who is always there for her family and friends. The Fitz family has been a big, wonderful part of our lives. Mike and I bought the house next door, and we were neighbors for almost 25 years. Mr. Fitz loved being outside and enjoyed chatting with us across the fence. I will always remember his kindness, his laugh, and how much he loved his family. “The man is a success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much."

When I think of Dad Fitz as I Call Him… It’s a True testament of The Joy I experienced being an extended Family Member. My Love of Hampton Beach comes from my wonderful experiences each Summer since I was 12 years old (after meeting My Beautiful Forever Friend/ Sister Lynne) with the Fitzgerald Family… it was pure Bliss, Body Surfing with Dad and I’m a pro to this day because He taught us All how to catch the waves. He was amused by me beating him at sand ball many times. He snuck in some wins too. He made the best tuna sandwiches too. I Loved those Summers. Add to that Mom Fitz’s yummy food and stingers on a cool beach day( when we got older) my love for thousand island dressing comes from those summers in the beach. This Bliss continued as We all grew up and had families of our own. My husband and children got to enjoy Summers at Hampton Beach with Mom and Dad Fitz and the whole Family too. Dad had to deal with losing at cribbage to my husband Michael but after all the games played, I think it’s a tie
