Catherine T. "Kay" (Martin) Billingsley
Beloved aunt, godmother, and cousin;
Catherine T. "Kay" (Martin) Billingsley, 92, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 22, 2023, at her home.
Born in Lowell, MA, December 29, 1930, the daughter of the late John and the late Margaret "Rita" (Bosca) Martin, she attended St. Patrick's Grammar School and graduated from St. Patrick's Girl High School in the class of 1948.
Prior to her retirement, Kay was employed at Tewksbury Hospital in the Central Supply Department, and as a nursing attendant. She was also previously employed at Lowell Electric and Raytheon.
She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church as well as a member of the Women’s Guild and the Oblate Mission Club.
Among her many interests, Kay enjoyed traveling, the beach, and going out for dinner with her friends. She was also a member of the Happy Travelers Retirees and the R.S.C and M.E. Association.
Catherine is survived by two godsons Daniel Larocque and his wife Katie of Lowell, MA, and Edward O’Brien and his wife Coleen of Cary, North Carolina; a niece: Maura Reardon and her husband Chip of Andover.
She was the sister of the late Ruth Martin and the sister-in-law of the late William Halloran and cousin of the late Judith Larocque and the late Mary Nyberg.
Relative and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday June 30, 2023, at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH in Lowell, at 10:00 A.M.
