Thomas P. Casserly
Beloved companion, brother, and godfather

Thomas P. Casserly, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, died on Friday, December 13, 2024, after a brief illness.

Born in Portland, ME, the son of the late Thomas J. and the late Mary E. (Decker) Casserly, he attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School, class of 1962.

Prior to his retirement, Tom worked as a flight engineer for Trans East Airlines in Bedford, MA for several years.

Among his interests, Tom enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean, gardening, yard work, and home improvement projects. Tom was a skilled handyman and never met a project he couldn't tackle.  He enjoyed the outdoors, including spending time with friends at Long Pond and going on walks with his dogs.

Tom is survived by his sister, Ellen Casserly of Lowell, MA; his significant other, Candice Connell of Westford, MA; and his godson, Daniel R. Wojcik, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Dracut, MA.

At Tom’s request, his funeral services were held privately for his family. Burial was at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell, MA. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
