Rita J. (Murphy) Perreault


  Rita J. (Murphy) Perreault, 88, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died  Monday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Roger J. Perreault who died in 1972.
  She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Manning) Murphy.  She attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
  Her greatest joy was her family and the precious time she spent with them.   Family and friends were always welcomed and were greeted with a warm hello followed by an offering of a cup of tea and homemade cookies.  
  Rita is survived by five daughters Mary Ann Brodeur and her husband Roland of Dracut, Rita J. Pigeon and her husband Ernest of Lowell, Patricia A. Marchand of Amesbury, Dorothy A. Trowbridge and her husband James of Lowell and Louise A. Beauchesne and her husband Robert of Lowell; three sons William J. Perreault and his wife Patricia of Las Vegas, Roger J. Perreault, Jr. and his wife Gail of Dracut, and Peter J. Perreault of Dracut; 15 grandchildren Michaela Fenochetti, Justin Perreault, Jessica Barboza, Kristine Jussaume, Jim Perreault, Lynn Blodgett, Kara Pigeon, Kenneth Pigeon, Jeffrey Marchand, Jason Marchand, Peter Perreault, Roger Perreault, James Trowbridge, Robert Beauchesne and Eric Beauchesne; 10 great grandchildren; a sister Catherine M. Liston of Lowell; two brothers Ronald Murphy and his wife Barbara of Dracut and James Dennis Murphy and his wife Nora of Silver Springs, MD, her sister-in-law Helen Murphy of Peaks Island Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
  She was also the sister of the late Thomas Murphy Sr.,  Helene Ayotte, Daniel Murphy, Frederick Murphy, Geraldine Draper, Joseph Murphy, and John Murphy. 
  Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday morning at ST. MICHAEL CHURCH at 10 o’clock. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
