Loving mother and grandmother

Dorothy J. (Page) Shanahan, 76, of Manchester NH. but formerly of Lowell MA. died on Thursday January 30, 2025, at the Maple Leaf Health Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Shanahan who died in 2018.

Born in Lowell, MA, May 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Donald and the late Hazel (Jarrett) Page, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

Prior to her retirement, Dorothy was an Accounts Payable Clerk at the Lowell Sun where she worked for many years.

Among her several interests, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, bowling and photography.

Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by a son Sean T. Shanahan and his wife Melanie and their children Caleigh, Aidan and Audrey of Tewksbury; her daughter Kathy Samson and her husband Chris and their children Jeremy, Ryan and Kylee of Allenstown, NH.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. There will be a brief Funeral Service at 6:00 P.M. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
