Andrea H. (Spanos) Carr
Beloved Sister, Aunt, Niece and Godmother;

Andrea H. (Spanos) Carr, 71, of Lowell, Massachusetts, a member of a well-known Greater Lowell family, passed away Suddenly & Unexpectedly on Sunday July 7, 2024, at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, MA.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, December 17, 1952, the daughter of the late Andrew G. and the late Helen V. (Vergados) Spanos, Andrea was a graduate of Lowell High School in the class of 1971.  

Prior to her retirement, Andrea worked in Accounts Receivables for Wang Laboratories. She also worked for several years at Scott Hardware on Bridge Street in Lowell, MA.

Andrea was a Selfless, Kind and Caring Person, who enjoyed the company of so many. She loved Crochet, Weeding, Solitaire and especially loved animals and her precious Chihuahua named Kookla. 

Andrea is survived by three brothers: George J. “Joe” Spanos and his wife Bethany of Andover, Paul A. Spanos and his wife Susan of Dracut, Nicholas A. Spanos and his wife Sharon of Lowell, MA; three nieces Samantha Mahoney and her husband Brendan of Dracut, Helena Spanos of Lowell, and Destiny Spanos of Andover; four nephews, James Spanos and his wife Jennifer of Tyngsboro, Nicky Spanos and his wife Rachael of Pelham, NH, Andrew Spanos of Lowell, and Demetri Spanos of Andover; four grandnephews Aaron, Colin, Jonathan and Benjamin; a grandniece Mia Mahoney, her uncle Charles Spanos of Lowell, and several cousins who she loved and adored. 

Relatives and friends may attend her Memorial Visitation at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL on Monday July 15, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. followed by her Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11:45 A.M.
