Thomas S. Hebert
 Beloved husband, father, brother and friend

Thomas S. Hebert, 69, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 8, 2021 after a brief illness.
He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Soucy) Hebert, who survives him, and with whom he would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 27, 1951, he was the son of the late Leonard and the late Veronica (Sullivan) Hebert. He attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1970, where he was a member of the 1967 undefeated football team.
Tom went on to graduate from Control Data Institute in Burlington.
Prior to his retirement, Tom was a copier and printer technician with Xerox Corporation, where he worked for over 30 years. Previously, he worked for Diablo Systems. 
Tom was a long-time and well-liked member of Long Meadow Golf Club, at one time serving on the Board of Directors. He was a former Board Member of the Greater Lowell Youth Hockey Association and a former member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks.
His many interests included watching Notre Dame football and all New England sports teams, trying his luck at the casinos, and trips to Saratoga Racetrack and Florida with friends and family. He loved to play golf at Long Meadow and was a member of the Hole in One Club. 
He also enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to Washington to visit his daughter, and coaching his son’s Shedd Park baseball team.
Besides his wife Patty, Tom is survived by his daughter Melissa A. Knight and her husband Dorian of Weymouth; a son Matthew T. Hebert of Boston; four siblings Carole Robertson and her husband Robert of Lowell, Lynne White and her husband Leo of York, ME, David Hebert and his wife Francene of Palm Coast, FL and Susan Seamans and her partner Eli Sokorelis of Dracut; nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law; many close friends and family, especially Leo and Cheryl Sheridan of Lowell, Thomas and Laurie King of Lowell, Brad and Kristen Laurin of Dracut and Tom’s buddies Tommy, Sean, Colin, O-dawg, Nolan and Tucker.
He was predeceased by his in-laws Andre and Rita Soucy, Carol and Robert Nangle, and David Seamans; his nephews Patrick White and Little Brian Soucy; his niece Keri Lynne White; and his dear friends David Chase and Joe McCabe.
Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 4 to 7 pm Friday. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH in Lowell at 11:00 am. (All state-required social distancing procedures will be observed, including the wearing of masks upon entrance into the Funeral Home and the Church). Committal Services will be private. Marguerite “Peggy” Bouchard

Loving mother, grandmother;

Marguerite “Peggy” Bouchard of Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Sunday December 6, 2020.

Peggy was the beloved wife of the late Germain J. Bouchard, M.D..

She was the loving mother of John G. Bouchard (Nancy) of Bend, Oregon, Charles S. Bouchard (Anne) of Glen Ellyn, IL, and Philip J. Bouchard (Jill) of San Francisco, CA,; Peggy is also survived by seven grandchildren: George, Olivia, Claudia, Liliane, Emmett, Alice, and Cora.

Peggy was preceded in death by her brother Francis Ricard and his wife Mildred.

Peggy graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsborough and was a member of the Alumnae Association. She served as the Director of Youth Concerts at Symphony Hall in Boston for 10 years. Peggy was active in the local community and was supportive of the Human Services Corporation, the University of Lowell Foundation, and The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell.

Peggy was passionate about French cooking, antiques, rare books, and gardening, and was a member of the Lowell Garden Club for many years. She also enjoyed tennis and was a longtime participant in the Wednesday morning “WAM” Tennis Club.

Manoel Lopes
Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend;

Manoel Lopes, 77, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday January 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband for over 51 years of Osvanda (Zambom) Lopes, who survives him.

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, June 10, 1943, the son of the late Antonio F. and the late Ruth G. (Gimenez) Lopes, he received his education in Brazil and graduated from Liceu Marechal Deodoro College with a Degree in Accounting.

Manoel began his career in Brazil as a bookkeeper with Usiqimica do Brazil where he also met his wife Osvanda. After moving to the U.S., he worked at Grace Shoe Company in Lowell. In 1974, he started an almost 30 year career as a Materials Specialist at Frudenberg Nonwovens.

An avid  soccer enthusiast, Manoel was a life member of the Sporte Clube Corinthians Paulista (Soccer Club) and loved watching soccer games either in person or on television whenever he could.

Manoel also enjoyed traveling, listening to music, back yard birdwatching, caring for his lawn, washing his car, taking photos and videos  and collecting stein mugs and minted coins.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Thomas Lopes of Lowell; a daughter Patricia Sandoval and her husband Marco S. of Lowell; two sisters Maria Teresa Orlandi and her husband Orlando of Brazil and Eunice C. Veloso of Brazil; a sister -in-law Zaida Zanbom of Dracut and 48 loving nieces and nephews.

Manoel was also the brother of the late Paulo R.G. Lopes and his late wife Adalgiza S. Lopes and brother-in-law of the late Ozvaldo Zambom.

David M. Quinn

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend;

David M. Quinn, 86, of Dracut, Massachusetts but formerly of Lowell, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

He was the loving husband for over 61 years of Mary E. (Gallagher) Quinn, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 18, 1935, the son of the late John A. and the late Helen I. (Brady) Quinn, he received his education in the Lowell school system.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, David proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy.

Prior to his retirement, David worked in marketing and communications with the former Digital Corporation for many years.

Besides his wife, David is survived by three children David M. Quinn, Jr. and his wife Lizette  of Marietta, GA, Martha Lazares and her husband George of Dracut and Catherine Gaudet and her husband Glenn of Cary, NC; eight grandchildren Erin Quinn and her partner Phoebe Oliver of Georgia, Lauren Quinn of Georgia, Shannon Holizna and her husband Caleb of Georgia, Arthur Lazares of Methuen, Helena Lazares of Tyngsboro, Nicholas Lazares of Dracut, Caroline Gaudet of Malden and Aaron Gaudet of Chestnut Hill; his former daughter-in-law Linda Quinn of Brazelton, GA; a brother Edward B. Quinn.

He was also the brother of the late John Quinn, the late Robert Quinn and the late Mary J. Cox.

On Sunday July 25, 2021, the Intention for St. Margaret of Scotland Parish regularly scheduled 10:00 o’clock Mass will be in loving remembrance of David M. Quinn.
