Walter J. Langlois Beloved husband, father, step-father;
Walter J. Langlois, 74, of Lowell, died peacefully at his home on Friday September 4, 2020 surrounded by his family.
He was the loving husband of Dianne G. (Winship) Langlois, who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, December 20, 1945, a son of the late Alfred and the late Lena (Boisvert) Langlois, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1963.
Walter retired from Lund International in Bedford where he was a steel worker for many years.
A family man, Walter enjoyed all Boston sports and playing pool and bowling with family and friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children Lee Ann Swan, Walter J. Langlois, Jr. and Eric Langlois all of Lowell; three step-children Tracy Smith of Maine, Joby Robinson and Joseph Robinson both of Lowell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters Theresa Langlois of Dracut and Lorraine Boudreau of Lowell; two brothers Roland Langlois and his wife Sandra of Florida and William “Bill” Langlois and his wife Eileen of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

Helene M. Twilley
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend;
Helene M. (Niemi) Twilley, 65, of Lowell passed away in Lowell on Saturday August 29, 2020 after a brief illness.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 27, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert W. and the late Cynthia M. (Ames) Niemi, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1973.
Prior to her retirement, Helene was a manufacturing technician in the computer and high-tech industry for many years.
She is survived a daughter Rachael M. Gorman of Lowell; a son Paul J. Gorman, Jr. of Tampa, FL; three granddaughters Madison Yeoman, Taylor Yeoman and Ashlyn; a grandson Evan Gorman; a sister Cynthia M. Burns and her husband Jerry of Nashua, NH; a brother Michael Niemi of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Florence Louise Holton
Retired School Teacher, Nashua, NH
Florence Louise Holton, a lifelong Lowell resident, died in Lowell on Saturday August 22, 2020.
Florence was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Patrick A. and the late Elizabeth B. (Shanahan) Holton.
She was educated in the Lowell school system, was a graduate of Lowell High School and graduated from Lowell State Teachers College with a BS in Elementary Education and Boston University with a Master’s Degree in Education in 1949.
Prior to her retirement, Florence was a principal and teacher in the Nashua, NH school system for many years.
Florence was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Teresa Holton who died in 2018.
She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

James H. Jewer
"The Pool Man"
James H. Jewer, 66, formerly of Lowell, died Saturday August 29, 2020 at Lowell General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, November 29, 1954, a son of Dorothy L.(Aylward) Jewer and the late James H. Jewer, he attended Wilmington schools and was a graduate of Wilmington High School.
Jim was the retired owner and operator of the former Pool Service Specialists of Lowell, aka "The Pool Man", for over 30 years.
Jim enjoyed professional sports of all types, especially the NFL and horse racing. In his younger years you would often find him at the Kentucky Derby or the Belmont watching the ponies run.
Besides his mother, Jim is survived by a sister Dorothy L. Johnson and her husband Rick of Somerville, MA; a brother Edward R. Harnish and his wife Melissa; five nieces and nephews; his good friends Chris and John.
He was also the brother of the late Thomas J. Harnish.
