Timothy J. Dorris
Loving husband, stepfather and brother;
Timothy J. Dorris, 43, of Lowell, died Wednesday December 23, 2020, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the beloved husband of Michelle F. (Farrah) Dorris, who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of the late William and the late Theresa M. (St. Gelais) Dorris, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School Class of 1995.
He went to graduate from ITT Tech in Clearwater, Florida.
Currently he was a Store Manager for Cumberland Farms in their Winthrop location.
Tim was a fan of youth soccer and Harry Potter. His most cherished time was with his family.
Besides his wife, Tim is survived by two step-children Donald Farrah Hicks and Izabel Velez; a sister Tammy – Ann Dorris and her companion Andrew Trombley of Dracut; a brother Troy R. Dorris of North Andover, MA; his mother-in-law Marie T. (Gaudette) Farrah of Lowell; his sister-in-law Theresa M. Stickney and her husband William of Lowell; and his best friend of over 30 years Raymond J. Morrison of Lowell.

Doris Marie Hines
Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Doris Marie (Paradis) Hines, 90, a longtime resident of Lowell, then Nashua, New Hampshire and most recently of Tewksbury, MA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband and loving family on Monday December 21, 2020.
She was the beloved wife for 64 years of Harold F. Hines, who survives her.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 24, 1930, Doris was the daughter of the late Borromee E. Paradis and the late Louise M. (Soucy) Paradis.
Following her graduation from Saint Joseph’s Girls High School in 1948 and Lowell Commercial College in 1950, she subsequently worked as a general ledger bookkeeper for 1400 Motors of Lowell. Doris then went on to become a bank teller at First Federal Savings and Loan Association.
Her memberships included the Catholic Daughters of America, Garden Club of Lowell, Ladies Guild of Saint John’s Hospital of Lowell, Guild of the Infant Saviour, and Massachusetts CPA’s Wives Club. Doris was also a former volunteer at Saint John’s Hospital for a number of years. Her leisure activities included golf and bowling as a member of Vesper Country Club in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and Abenaqui Country Club in Rye Beach, New Hampshire. She was also an avid reader.
She attended and was a daily communicant of Saint Joseph the Worker Church in Nashua and a longtime parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church in Lowell.
Besides her husband she is survived by four children, a daughter, Louise Hines-Ike and her husband, Richard J. Ike, Jr. of Littleton, Colorado, a son, James Hines of Chicago, Illinois, a daughter, Constance McCarthy and her husband, Timothy McCarthy of Leawood, Kansas, and a son, Daniel Hines and his wife, Elizabeth Hines of Lowell, Massachusetts.
She also leaves behind nine grandchildren Ian Hines-Ike, Brendan Hines-Ike, Kira Hines-Ike, Ryan McCarthy and wife, Sara McCarthy, Devin McCarthy and wife, Katie McCarthy, Molly Bressler and husband, Kai Bressler, Shawn Hines, Samuel Hines, Daniel Hines and two great grandchildren, Pierce McCarthy and Hadley McCarthy.
Other survivors include a sister, Priscilla Dragon, and a sister, Irene Boucher and her husband, Roger Boucher and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Father Roger Paradis, O.M.I, a sister, Laurette Wagner and her husband, Edward Wagner, a brother Arthur Paradis and his wife Phyllis Paradis, a brother, Roland Paradis, a sister, Therese Lewis and her husband, James Lewis, and a brother-in-law, Paul Dragon.
The family would also like to thank the Visiting Angels of Chelmsford, Massachusetts for their exceptional care over the past two years.
Due to gathering restrictions, all Funeral Services were held privately for the family followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Joyce Ann Monteiro
Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister;
Joyce Ann (McLeod) Monteiro, 79, of Dracut, Massachusetts, passed away Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Tufts New England Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, August 19, 1941, a daughter of the late John V. and the late Cecile (Frechette) McLeod, she attended St. Patrick Grammar school and was a graduate of Keith Hall.
Joyce enjoyed cooking and gardening but her greatest joy was when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Prior to her retirement, Joyce was a social worker with Lakeview Care Center in Delray Beach, FL.
She is survived by four children Sharon L. Baroni and her husband Brian of Billerica, Karen A. McNulty of Dracut, Michael J. Monteiro and his wife Lisa J. of Dracut and Dawna L. Monteiro of Hudson, NH; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two sisters Brenda Chapman of Wilton, NH and Kathleen Tariff of Coconut Beach, FL; many nieces and nephews; and her loving dog "Pup".
She was also the sister of the late John McLeod and life lifelong companion of the late Ferdinand Iacone.

Ramona (Oquendo) Arteaga
Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend;
Ramona (Oquendo) Arteaga, 87, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home December 7th 2020.
She was the wife of Juan Arteaga, who survives her.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, August 26, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Arturo Oquendo and the late Leonor Serrano.
Prior to her retirement, Ramona was a food processor for the former Commodore Foods in Lowell.
She is survived by three children Hector Velasquez of Lowell, Nilsa Rodriguez of Waterbury, CT and Sonia Nieves of Lowell; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren; three siblings Elba Lopez of Lowell, Efrian Oquendo of Lawrence, Ma and Panchita Oquendo of Philadelphia, Pa.
Ramona was also the mother of the late Daisy Velazquez, the late Luis Nieves and the late Jose Nieves.
